Meet the Team

  • Johannes Gross

    Our Chief Engineer and CEO Johannes Gross brings extensive experience on space projects from his time at JPL. He has built software projects but also delivered optical hardware on NASA flight missions.

  • Robert Karban

    Chief Software Engineer Robert Karban has built and delivered operational software his entire career. Having delivered the largest hardware-as-a-service system on the planet, Robert has the ideal background for Planetary Utilities’ products.

  • Adam Friedman

    Our mechanical lead Adam is a master of simple and functional designs. He gathered extensive experience working at SpaceX and NASA/JPL.

  • Robert Wulfert

    With extensive industry experience in simulation and analysis, Robert units an intuitive understanding of physics with a practical doer mentality.
